Nature photography
I take a closer look at the wild world around us.
From birds and bugs to blooms and pond life, I photograph the natural world with a birder’s patience and a naturalist’s eye.
Field Notes
Patient attention changes the picture.
I know nature is never still. Knowing when to wait, where to look, and what a subject is doing opens up the frame.

A practiced eye
I bring field knowledge to every photograph.
I’m a Travis Audubon Master Birder and a Capital Area Master Naturalist. My hands-on work with Purple Martin colonies brings care, curiosity, and context to every image.
